Food & Beverage service is now available at the Pool facility.  A modified version of the Lunch menu is available for delivery to the pool area. Full bar service is also available. To order you can call the clubhouse at extension 324 and place your order. It will be delivered when ready and charged to your house account. An 18% gratuity will apply.

In June, we started introducing & assigning loyalty points for Food & Beverage purchases which will allow you to accumulate points for redemption on any item within the program. So the more you dine; the more complimentary food & beverage or cart fee’s you will earn. As with golf cart point accrual, there are higher accrual rates depending upon the monthly dollar amount spent and the tier which you are in. Be sure that you have signed up for this program.

Since the introduction of the Loyalty Program in April, we are rewarding Golf Membership renewals with a gift of 500 Loyalty points for Family Golf and 300 Points for individual Golf. Thank you and enjoy.

Seasonal Golf Pass ~ We are introducing a Seasonal Golf Pass program which may be of interest to some of our “part time” residents and members. On an ongoing basis, beginning May 1st, we will be offering a 4 month golf pass. The program is for an individual wanting to play for any 4 consecutive months and pay a seasonal cart fee. The pricing will be $225 month for May through December or $275 month for January through April. Persons opting for this program have no membership rights nor privileges.

Golf Tip of The Month

The Lag Putt ~ A very important part of playing good golf is to avoid three putting.  A good way to practice not doing this is to practice lag putting ( putts over 30 feet ) the goal is to try to stop the ball no more than two and a half feet from the hole making the next putt a easy one.

Practice on a flat surface on the putting green from about thirty feet, hit at least 20 putts from that area with your eyes looking at the hole and not the ball at impact.  This should be difficult at first but as you hit thru the 20 putts each one should get a little closer to the hole and you should be developing more feel in your body for those putts.  Be patient and give this time and it will help!

August Turf Talk

Last month was very dry and hot.  Dry spots are developing throughout the course, so lets hope we get some rain in August.  The first week of this month we will be verticutting collars.  This removes thatch and cuts down on the puffiness and grain.  The second week we will aerify tees and maybe some fairways.  During both these processes we will try to work in front of or behind play but some interruption of play may occur.  Thank you for your cooperation in our efforts to improve the golf course.
